Damane de la Combe is in Saint-Fiacre, a village inbetween the two rivers of Sevre and Maine, the cradle of the Muscadet appellation. The slopes of these river valleys give the vines a unique exposure and after centuries of erosion they grow on a terroir of schist and gneiss.

After working in vineyards across the world, Pierre-Henri Gadais has now retumed to take over the family Domaine. Passionate about the expression of terroir and protecting the environment, he is in the process of converting the vineyard to organic.

Wines are traditionally bottled here 'sur lie' ensuring prolonged contact with the fine lees enhancing the overall richness and finesse.

The dy white wine was born on schist and reflects the mineraliyy and freshness of the unique terroir.

Muscadet 'Tradition' has flavours of white fruits (peaches, pears} with a fine well balanced palate and refreshing acidity, a versatile dry white wine perfect with seafood and grilled white fish.
