Light, fruity and creamy, our Flagship single malt is made from field to bottle with 100% homegrown barley and is the culmination of our ex-Bourbon matured style (following on from the ‘First’ and ‘Second’ Releases). Our ethos is all about respecting tradition but doing things our own way – the style, taste and creation of Flagship truly brings this to life.

Filey Bay Flagship has always been made using a solera-style approach, more accurately, a fractional blending method. After five years, it’s become known in-house as our Flagship System. Since the first batch in 2020, it has steadily evolved: every time we bottle Flagship, we replace it with older casks carefully selected from the warehouse. This keeps the flavour profile consistent, while allowing the whisky to gain age, depth and complexity, its a true reflection of our distillery as it matures.
