Me Mam's Carrot Jam

A sweet or savory jam based on my granny's WWII recipe, passed down to me by me Mam - hence the name. During World War II,  sugar & fruit were often scarce, so vegetables were used to sweeten food naturally. 

This jam is a MASSIVE hit with kids, shocked that carrots can taste so good! It's a versatile jam, like a cross between a marmalade & chutney in texture. Depending on your sweet tooth, it can be used as a traditional  jam on toast; or as a savory jam with cheese and cold meats (pork pies, scotch eggs, etc.)

Jar size: 190ml Ingredients: Carrots, sugar, lemons, natural pectin, sultanas & ginger. Made in an environment which handles nuts. Allergens in BOLD.
