Roberto Ghio “Vinarancio” | Orange Caricalasino | 12.5%

Locals call Roberto Ghio a “wine philosopher” — the seventh generation of his family to craft wine in Gavi. His organic-certified vineyards sit in a unique corner of Piedmont, where soils have been shaped by centuries of exchange between inland and coast, and the vines are brushed by Ligurian sea breezes. The result is a Gavi with unmistakable character.

Macerated on the skins for around 15 days, this wine shows a beautiful antique golden-orange hue. The nose is lifted with citrus and candied fruit, while the palate is fresh, lightly tannic, and remarkably clean in flavour.
